In the middle of the night, when I become lost in my head with nowhere to go, I long for somewhere safe. Somewhere that bridges the absence of solace I feel inside, and the physical world—where my body craves to be touched in a way that can’t be described in any earthen tongue that I’m familiar with.
What I’m looking for isn’t romantic…it is’t sexual…and it isn’t even something that I know how to explain. Simply, it is just otherworldly.
Perhaps I can find the missing piece here. Or maybe, this place can be the escape I need to discover it inside of myself.
